For Licensed Clinicians
You don't have to
figure this out alone.
I'm actively building a private-pay psychotherapy practice specializing in sexual health — and I'm available to walk alongside other clinicians who are doing the same.
This isn't advice from a distance. I'm in it right now — and what I'm learning, I'm learning in real time.

About This Work
Field-tested.
Right now.
I offer consulting in two areas: private practice business development, and clinical consultation on sex and sexuality. Both are grounded in real, current experience — not theoretical frameworks or advice from someone who built their practice a decade ago and has since forgotten what the beginning felt like.
I'm navigating insurance panel exits, building referral relationships with medical providers, developing a brand, and doing the unglamorous work of showing up consistently in a specialty that still makes some people uncomfortable. If you're doing any version of this, I'd like to be useful to you.
What I Offer
Two areas of consulting.
01
Private Practice Business Consulting
For therapists who are ready to leave insurance panels, build a private-pay caseload, or grow a specialty practice — and want a thought partner who has recent, lived experience doing exactly that.
We can work on
- Exiting insurance panels strategically
- Building referral networks with medical providers
- Branding and positioning your specialty
- Navigating telehealth licensure across state lines
- The mindset work that nobody talks about — scarcity thinking, sustainability, and trusting the process
- Building a sustainable, private pay practice that honors your value.
02
Clinical Consultation: Sex & Sexuality
For therapists who encounter sexual health material in their practices — and want a confidential, informed space to think it through.
Sexual concerns show up across every clinical population. Most graduate programs don't prepare us for them. Whether you're navigating a client's disclosure, unsure how to approach a particular dynamic, or simply want a knowledgeable colleague to think alongside — I'm here for that.
Rates & Packages
Rates for packages and ongoing consultation arrangements are discussed during our initial conversation.

About Paula
Credentials
in the room.
I specialize in sex therapy, couples counseling, and trauma work. My clinical approach integrates Gottman Method principles, Brainspotting for trauma processing, and a sex-positive framework grounded in current sexology research — including Viktor Frankl's logotherapy and attitudinal values, which shape how I think about meaning-making in clinical work.
I've built a fully telehealth practice across three states, navigated the infrastructure of private-pay practice from scratch, and developed referral relationships with OB/GYNs and pelvic floor physical therapists. I know what it's like to build something in a specialty that requires more explanation than most.
My PhD program in sexology keeps me current in a rapidly evolving field. If you're working at the edge of what your training prepared you for — especially around sexual health — I understand that position, and I take it seriously.
I work at the intersection of clinical rigor and genuine human complexity — because that's where real change actually happens.
