What Brings Clients Here

The gap between your public life and your private one

Most of my Connecticut clients aren't in crisis. They're high-functioning people who have built successful careers, meaningful relationships, and full lives — and who are quietly aware that something in their intimate world isn't working. Maybe it's been this way for a while. Maybe they've tried other approaches and found them too surface-level.

I work at the intersection of clinical rigor and genuine human complexity. That's where real change happens.

Sessions are fully virtual, HIPAA-compliant, and available throughout Connecticut — Hartford, Stamford, New Haven, and beyond.

Areas of Focus

What I specialize in

Desire & Women's Sexual Health

Desire discrepancy, low libido, arousal difficulties, pain with sex, vaginismus, and post-medical intimacy challenges. Often referred by OB/GYNs for concerns that don't fit neatly into a medical appointment.

Couples & Intimacy

Communication breakdown, trust repair, emotional distance, and navigating the decision to stay or go.

LGBTQ+, ENM & Kink Affirming

All orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures. Truly non-judgmental — this isn't a disclaimer, it's the work.

Trauma & Relational Patterns

Brainspotting for emotional blocks and relational trauma — available as regular sessions or extended intensives.

"Clients come in stuck. They leave with language, tools, and a path forward."

Common Questions

What to know before reaching out

Who can benefit from sex therapy?

Anyone experiencing challenges with intimacy, sexual health, or relationship dynamics — individuals and couples alike, across all orientations and relationship structures. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to benefit from this work.

Do you work with nontraditional relationships?

Yes. I specialize in polyamorous, open, ENM, and kink-involved relationships. This isn't a niche I accommodate — it's central to my clinical training and practice.

Are sessions confidential?

All sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Your privacy is protected.

What happens in a first session?

We assess what's going on, what you've already tried, and where you want to land. It's a real conversation — not a form to fill out.

Do you accept insurance?

I am paneled with BCBS PPO and Blue Care Network through Michigan. If you're a Connecticut or New York client with BCBS, please check with your plan directly to confirm they'll cover sessions with an out-of-state provider. Out-of-network benefits for other plans can be processed through Thrizer. Please note that couples counseling and sex therapy are not billed to insurance — individual therapy sessions only.
