I am an adjunt professor at The Wayne State University School of Social Work, where I teach Human Sexuality to graduate students. I graduated from the Wayne State School of Social Work and completedmy post graduate training at the University of Michigan's Sexual Health Certificate Program, with concentrations in sex therapy and sexuality education. I am a Licensed Clinical Masters Social Worker in the State of Michigan. I work with individuals and couples in therapy, specializing in intimacy and relationship issues with both straight and LGBTQ clients. I maintain a private practice in Detroit's Midtown area at the Park Shelton.
I am a interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I am a positive and affirming therapist. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. I work with each individual and /or couple with compassion and understanding, to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
